Sacrifice and Alms Giving for Genetic Diseases: A Tradition for Hope
People have been offering sacrifices and making vows for generations, promising to God but often forgetting their pledges.
In Anatolia, there exists a beautiful tradition where sacrifices are made upon acquiring a new house or car, or when facing hardship.
Here is where the issue of genetic diseases comes into play.
Despite the passing down of vows and sacrifices through generations, people tend to forget them, just as they forget promises made to friends, family, and neighbors.
In the Quran, in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:124), it is stated: "And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham was tried by his Lord with commands and he fulfilled them. [ Allah ] said, "Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people." [Abraham] said, "And of my descendants?" [ Allah ] said, "My covenant does not include the wrongdoers."
Reflect upon this verse, ponder over it. Recall the promises made by your ancestors, promises left unfulfilled.
When faced with untreatable illnesses, do not lose hope!
If you find yourself struggling despite knocking on doctors' doors, there is a remedy for you.
That remedy lies in Surah Al-Kawthar.
"Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], Al-Kawthar. So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone]. Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off." (Quran 108:1-3)

You may choose to sacrifice an animal for the sake of Allah, such as a ram, goat, or rooster. Depending on your financial capability, you may increase the number of sacrifices.
The act of sacrifice requires meticulous attention and should be performed in the correct sequence. The expenses for sacrifices should be borne by yourself or your family.
Intentions play a crucial role here:

Intend for the sake of Allah. The pleasure of Allah should always be the primary intention in sacrifices.

Subsequently, the sacrifice should be made with the intention of replacing the unfulfilled vows of your lineage.

Lastly, intend for the rewards to be credited to those burdened with the rights of others.
What is "the right of others"?
Just as there are rights owed to Allah, there are rights owed to fellow human beings. Any injustice committed against another person is a violation of their rights.
Reflect on these teachings and contemplate on your actions.
Be cautious that the sacrifices and offerings are not consumed by your immediate family members or close relatives. They should be distributed among those less fortunate.
How to Delegate Authority - A Crucial Matter:
If the sacrifice is to be performed in a distant place, the delegation of authority must be done correctly.
First, make your intentions clear - for the sake of Allah, for the fulfillment of your vows, and for the rewards to be credited to those burdened with the rights of others.
Repeat this declaration thrice.
Warning: Failure to fulfill delegated responsibilities carries immense responsibility. Do not take on tasks you cannot complete. Do not put your lineage and family at risk.
Almsgiving: The Ultimate Elixir!
One of the fundamental pillars of Turkish and Islamic culture is "almsgiving."
Helping the poor, the needy, orphans, and the helpless constitutes all forms of charity.
Give from your wealth and your knowledge.
A kind word, even a smile, can be considered charity.
If you have encountered untreatable diseases, give alms.
Feed a hundred poor people.
Bring joy to children. Buy an ice cream cone for a child. If you have the means, bring joy to hundreds of children.
Help those affected by disasters, such as earthquakes.
Establish a soup kitchen.
Small acts of charity can ward off great calamities.

If you find yourself unable to marry or facing constant setbacks, if all paths seem blocked, then read Surah Al-Kawthar and act accordingly.
If you cannot obtain forgiveness, then sacrifice and make offerings with the intention of absolving the rights of others. Do good deeds on their behalf.
Cast your goodness into the sea!
If fish do not recognize it, the Creator surely will!
Trust in Allah and worry not about the rest.
Indeed, Allah is the Helper of those in distress...
